Facing the clothes fashion, I always find it interesting how people get it wrong in terms of dress codes for special occasions. “What should I wear to a wedding, a birthday party or an evening party?” You may ask yourself many times.
We can see there are many historic and relevant fashion solutions to all of these questions, but in most circumstances people wear what they were always going to wear, despite the appropriateness. The recent Polo proved to be a big problem for many women. I’ve been to the polo many times and am often puzzled as to why most of the girls choose tiny evening dresses with high shoes.
In a different way, Polo chose casual clothes, such as white jeans and polo shirts or cotton sundresses with espadrilles or white sneakers.
However, girls who like tiny dresses and high shoes will wear them everywhere. Dress codes seem irrelevant. In fact, it’s a shame for I always think matching clothes to the occasion is half the fun.
I went to a country wedding last weekend and loved deciding what to wear. I wore a simple black dress but actually I should have been in denim, striped cotton or white linen party dress. I selected it because it didn’t need ironing. But I felt wrong.
